Administrative Volunteer
Specific Duties: To assist the Shelter/Agency increase the use of direct care volunteers
Qualifications/Skills: Administrative Volunteers need to be dependable and reliable. They need to be able to show patience in a learning environment. A basic understanding of the tasks the volunteers will be dealing with is necessary. Supervisory and teaching experience helpful.
Hours/Dates: Administrative Volunteer positions are currently available. The specific days and time are flexible. We do ask that Administrative Volunteers come two-four hours per week for a period of six months. This is a position that works primarily with Volunteers to teach and supervise. By coming consistently for a reasonable amount of time a Administrative Volunteer can provide a sense of encouragement and will let the new volunteer know that there help is appreciated. Attending Staff & Management meetings encouraged.

The Administrative Volunteer position needs to be filled by kind and encouraging people who are willing to help volunteer accomplish their goals.
