I am a watercolor artist, and like everyone else, I was given the three-dimensional house.  My studio has many windows looking out on a large rock outcropping, and topped by many trees.  I love to watch, observe and frequently paint the seasonal changes that happen around me.  One rather unproductive day, I was watching the squirrels scamper over and around the rocks doing what squirrels do.  This is when I decided to depict them and then sent my grandchildren out to gather some acorns the squirrels left behind. I created this piece with nature in mind.  I found this to be a noble cause in which I was pleased to participate.  The 3-dimensional effect brings the piece a bit closer to the viewer.
