Transportation Provider

Job Description

 

Specific Duties:  To assist the shelter staff in the transport of people or items to or from the shelter.  Examples of this would be:

 

Qualifications/Skills:  The transporter needs to own or have access to an appropriate sized vehicle.  This will vary depending on the assignment.  This position requires a person who is reliable, dependable, and flexible.  A willingness to participate in task oriented activity is also helpful.  If one is going to transport people a valid license and a good vehicle report is needed.

 

Hours/Dates:  Transportation positions are currently available.  The schedule is flexible.  It varies according to the amount of items that need to be taken care of and how soon they need to be moved.  We do ask that you remain available for at least a six month period in order to maintain organizational stability.
