Title:  “We are all Worth Saving”.  After having worked with the homeless population for the last 16 years, and having heard all the negative comments about how people should be ‘pulling themselves up by the bootstraps’; this painting illustrates that like the story of the starfish being thrown up on the sands after a storm, giving them a helping hand back into the sea shows how sometimes we all need a helping hand to get back “home” after our own storms.
