Mission Statement:

Every family deserves a place to call home; to have shelter from the weather, to heal when they are sick, to share meals, continuity and a place to grow and flourish.  For 25 years Citizens for Adequate Housing, Inc. has worked toward ending homelessness, providing a temporary home for homeless families and permanent affordable housing to low income families.  Our mission calls us to support families with dignity and respect, as they live in either our emergency shelter, the Inn Between, or in our sober living transitional housing shelter, the Inn Transition; or in one of our affordable housing apartments offered through our Communities Land Trust. 

Our immediate focus; family stabilization, the restoration of hope and dignity of each family, fostering self sufficiency through advocacy, education, life skills training, permanent housing and the hope for a lifetime without homelessness.
